Do I need to create an account?

How does the free quota work?

You get 5 free complete analyses per email. Each report unlock uses 1 credit. You can upload as many photos as you want, only unlocking the detailed report is limited.

What happens when my quota is exhausted?

You can continue to upload photos and see a preview (general sentiment). To access full reports, you can upgrade to a paid plan with more credits.

How do I access my history?

Once logged in (after unlocking at least one analysis), you can find all your analyses in the 'History' section accessible from the menu.

Can I use multiple emails?

Yes, but each email has its own quota. We recommend using a single email to keep all your history in one place.

What image formats are accepted?

We accept JPG, PNG, HEIC and WebP formats. Maximum size is 30 MB per image.

Is EXIF data used?

Yes! If your photo contains EXIF metadata (camera, lens, ISO, aperture, speed...), Focalis-X uses it to refine its analysis and provide more relevant tips.

Can I re-run an analysis on an existing photo?

Yes, from an unlocked analysis result page, you can click 'Re-analyze' to get a new report. This is useful when we've improved Focalis-X.

Smartphone or camera?

Both! Focalis-X analyzes smartphone photos as well as those taken with a DSLR or mirrorless. The analysis quality adapts to the available information.

Is the image compressed?

Yes, to optimize analysis speed and storage, images are automatically converted to WebP and resized (max 2048px). Quality remains sufficient for accurate analysis.

Are my photos confidential?

Absolutely. Your photos are encrypted during transfer and storage. They are never shared or used to train models. Only Focalis-X accesses them for analysis.

How long are my photos kept?

Unlocked photos are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Unlocked photos are kept in your history as long as your account is active.

Can I delete my data?

Yes, you can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will delete your account and all associated photos.
